Cyphermint's top priority is our customer's trust. We take protecting our customer's privacy very seriously.
Cyphermint has implemented two features that insure the privacy of our users
1) Blind Signatures that allow an "electronic audit trail" of the Internet transaction between the consumer and merchant.
2) 1024 bit encryption for highly secure Internet transactions between the consumer and the merchant.
However, in compliance with federal laws and regulations and in order to protect against fraud, we require our customers to provide the following information:
Name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. This information will be collected during the Wallet installation and will be stored in an encrypted format. Cyphermint uses high security standards while handling personal information.
If you add funds to your Cyphermint account using a processing company we utilize we may ask for your social security number or driver's license information.
Only properly trained, authorized Cyphermint employees will handle customer information. No one else will have access to your private information.
We use your personal information to provide our services, process your transactions and to provide efficient customer service. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect this information.
To protect against fraud we ask you to choose a personal password during the Wallet installation.
We strongly recommend that you have a password in order to protect the money that you keep in your Wallet and account. Please choose a password that is easy for you to remember and difficult for others to figure out. We do not have access to your password and will not be able to help you if you lose your password. Please back up your Wallet in case of a computer or power outage!
We will not share, sell or rent your personal information to any external organization, except as required by law.
