How do I add funds to my PayCash account?

You can deposit money into your PayCash Account in a number of different ways. Please see the Add Funds page for a complete list.

How soon will I be able to use my Wallet?

You must activate your Wallet first by adding funds to it. If you select to add funds by bank funds transfer it will take 24 to 48 hours for the funds to appear in your Wallet. If you are sending a personal check by mail to fund your PayCash account, once received, it typically takes 12 days to clear. After the check clears, the funds are released to your Wallet.

How do I withdraw funds from my PayCash account?

How do I know my account balance?

To check your PayCash account balance, click on the "Refresh" button in your Wallet. Please note that you must be connected to the Internet when checking your balance.

I don't want to wait for a check to clear before I can use my Wallet. What is the fastest way I can add funds to my PayCash account?

The fastest way to add funds to your PayCash account would be to use walk-in funding through American Payment Systems (11,000 physical locations), send funds via Western Union, or send us a money order or cashier's check.

How can I Uninstall my PayCash Wallet?

  1. To uninstall the Wallet, locate and run WalletUninstall.exe. This file should be located in the directory you chose when you installed the Wallet, for example, C:\Wallet.
  2. 2. If WalletUninstall.exe is not in the Wallet directory, then you can simply delete the Wallet directory and all of its contents. Make sure that the Wallet is not running (open) when you do this. The Wallet makes no entries into the Windows registry. After the directory is deleted you can delete any shortcuts that may have been placed on the desktop or start menu.

How do I send money to another person?

Unfortunately, due to security reasons, the person-to-person payment function in the Wallet has been temporarily disabled. We intend to activate this function again in the future.

How do I send money internationally?

If you have money in your PayCash Wallet account, you can send your money internationally through Moneta Express. Cyphermint (PayCash) does not provide international money transfers, however, Moneta Express uses our technology as an International Financial Transaction System.

I received an email saying that funds were transferred to my wallet, but when I checked, I still have a zero balance. Why?

You may need to click the Refresh button on your wallet, or check to see if there are any incomplete operations. Under Information, select Browse operations history and then the Incomplete operations button at the bottom of that window. Highlight and abort any incomplete operations listed.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

We do not have access to customer passwords. If you cannot remember the password you used to install the Wallet, you will need to download a new Wallet and notify Consumer Support so that we can transfer your balance into the new account. Please include both your old and new account numbers when contacting us. Note that we can only transfer the funds, your transaction history is stored locally in the Wallet and we cannot transfer that for you.
